Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most acclaimed films. She was drawn to becoming an artist was influenced by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Later on, her career shifted into directing and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actress. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. She was named the best box office star in the globe after just three releases. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
